Garland Lyn is a freelance Creative Director with deep expertise in graphic and digital design, typography, and branding. He specializes in strategic marketing communications and campaign development, drawing on extensive experience in video, photography, and commercial production.
Beyond executing creative for major brands, Garland has built and led both in-house and external teams for various marketing departments. Most recently, Garland served as SVP of Creative at Simon Property Group.
He also led creative for Banana Republic at its agency of record, and has worked through various advertising agencies or direct freelance engagements for
Nike, Supreme, Amazon, Calvin Klein,
Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Tumi,
Timberland, Nine West, Johnston & Murphy, and Kiehl’s, among others.
Earlier in his career, Garland gained valuable editorial insights working on magazine redesigns and special projects for Spin, Arena, Mademoiselle, Big Magazine, ESPN, and the biannual The Fashion.
